Beat Licensing Terms of Service

By purchasing and downloading a beat from Sugar Beatz Key Productions, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Licence Agreement: Your purchase grants you a limited licence to use the beat according to the specific lease selected at checkout. The purchase does not transfer copyright ownership unless an Exclusive Rights Agreement expressly states otherwise.

  2. Ownership: Sugar Beatz Key Productions retains ownership of the original beat, composition and production. Non-exclusive beats may be licensed to other artists.

  3. Permitted Use: The beat may only be used within the streaming, sales, music-video, performance and distribution limits of the licence purchased. A licence upgrade is required once any limit is reached.

  4. Restrictions: You may not resell, share, redistribute, sublicense or claim ownership of the original beat or its audio files. Registration with YouTube Content ID or another automated copyright-claiming service is prohibited unless written permission is provided.

  5. Producer Credit: All releases must include the credit: “Produced by Sugar Beatz Key Productions.”

  6. Payments and Refunds: All payments are final once the digital files have been delivered or downloaded, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Purchasing the wrong licence does not automatically qualify for a refund, but the amount paid may be applied toward an approved licence upgrade.

  7. Samples and Clearances: The buyer is responsible for clearing any vocals, samples or other material added to the beat. Any known third-party sample contained in the beat will be disclosed when applicable.

  8. Breach: Unauthorized use may result in licence termination, removal requests, copyright claims and other legal remedies.

  9. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados. The complete licence issued with your purchase controls if it conflicts with this summary.
